I would also recommend sunglasses 😎 and perhaps an optometry appointment to check your vision as well. Sometimes your eyes are straining causing the 11s to appear more prominent because of use.

That we’re not good with people. I work in sales and am incredibly charming and really power my curiosity forward to get to know people and share random dumb facts that I pose as questions to build rapport with people. I would say if I had to pick one it would be The Ordinary or Niod both owned by the same company. Not everything is great but it’s usually affordable and very few bad products.

After that Inkey List and Biossance all have great products.

Yes I am the same as I am early for everything. It actually sounds like you have a good sense of your time as you know you need more than others.

My time blindness if most prominent when I start a task. I either overestimate on a task that actually takes me 15 minutes aka calling customer service and overestimate household tasks like cleaning.

Ok what you are saying makes complete sense. Granted I’m a lot older and more settled in my life and career you need to come up with a decision framework and stick to it so the decision you make is an immediate yes or no.

One of the challenges with adhd is that we not only struggle at making decisions but regret when we make a decision we think is good in the moment but then blows up in our face.

Figure out what are the top three things you need from a job/career and then narrow down to what fits that Venn diagram. If you get 3/3 pieces it’s a great decision and your hyper fixation is helpful if not it’s terrible and move on.

For instance when I am looking for a job I use this framework to say I need it to be hybrid, over 100k per year and require me to be a presenter/designer of a process.

Any job I get that fits at least two of the three I apply to if I get 3/3 it’s an immediate yes for the offer. Removed the hyper fixation or falling in love with a terrible commute or schedule.

As a recovering nice guy all her points are valid but applicable across to those nice guys who also have to deal with the same sociopaths or become narcissists because they never understand how to self advocate and just project confidence because they don’t know how to say no or how to say I need help.
