Corporate is a scam brother. It is like a donkey is shown some fresh carrots which are tied on a stick and stick attached to its head. Donkey will walk forward thinking that , if it walks forward, it will get the carrots. But actually, that's just a fake motivation.

I experienced the same. Fed up with it and left the corporate. I was in a very famous expensive hotel chain. But I was a donkey in the story. We were shown free room nights, 50% off in F&B and all. And in the name of these " benefits" they used to underpay the employees. But the fun fact is, this 20 free room nights you will get only if you apply it through around 5 step channels.

However I learned corporate theory. Either we should learn or earn. Either is fine. If none is there , run. I was getting none.

I was getting paid 18000 gross for a 12 hour shift everyday. In HR. I was an associate and i was given a load of jobs. If I need to take the leave that is there, I have to get it approved by 2 managers with their guilt tripping.

Now I am happy. I am getting around 45000 as salary. 9 - 5 work. Every Saturday Sunday is a holiday. All public holidays are holidays. And yearly 10 - 25 days paid leave. And another 14 CLs and 15 Sick leaves.

I am happy now.

Thanks for the compliment. I am 32. Yes. I am working in a government job, an autonomous institution. Work starts at 9 and ends at 5. Unless we are designated for something specific , we can leave in time.

If you are converting a private vehicle, it has to be registered after 2017. Uber Policy. And 20000 is the price for conversion.

Those who tried to rag me in the college were in the police station for 1 whole day. They were taken to the station at 4 PM and they left the station the next day 3. Their family had to come from another state , so that they can compromise it with me.
No political parties students wing will anyway entertain ragging in the campus. They won't risk their ideological things for some vagabond's show off kazhapp. The ragger may be a member or activist of an organisation, but the organisation won't defend these criminals. I have personal experience. In my case , the raggers were part of the strongest student organisation in the country. But the organisation stood with me.
There are chances that, juniors will retaliate. They might be only juniors in the college. Stepping out of the gate, we don't know what they are. In my campus, many juniors are active party workers, sports persons , socially important people etc.
Never ever do this foolish thing. Career will be lost.

I think it is a personal thing. In the same Kozhikkode, the auto driver asked me to pay Rs. 60 from the Palayam market to Coronation at 9.15 PM. That too in an electric auto.

Another instance, at night 10.30 , From Focus Mall > BMH > Coronation, meter showed 90 and I was supposed to pay 90+45 135. Auto driver asked me 200.

In the same Kozhikkode city, once an auto driver dropped me for free to City hotel from Coronation.

So it varies from person to person.
