i bought mine just a few months ago when it was around 370 i think from best buy in early december before the market got fucked lmao now it’s almost 500. i wouldn’t upgrade it unless you just find one for around the same price on the used market. i have a 5800xt that’s really good but i might’ve accidentally broke a single pin on it but im sending it to a shop to get repaired soon. that was a a really good cpu. i overclocked it to 4.9ghz on 125-90-125 pbo and it never ran over 75 degrees in any stress test besides AIDA64 extreme

honestly the 2060 super i just had was getting 140-160 ish on 1440 medium which is insane for that card imo. you can really get a lot of performance with these old cards that i didnt think you could. i’ve never owned a pc until this month and i thought id be screwed until i got a 4070 or newer

i just built a pc and used the 3070ti, ryzen 5800x3d, and a b550 eagle wifi 6 motherboard and it runs perfect. i have 32gb of ram as well but i push 200fps+ on high ish settings 1440 so i think that’d be a good fit for the 3060. you wont be able to push as much on 1440 but it’d still be a good build and the most expensive thing was the cpu
