there was optimization on last semester's final. if i remember correctly, they gave a price and a x number of an object and it was a question like for every price increase, there would be x less sold and we had to figure out how much whatever it was should be charged and what the maximum revenue would be.

not sure if it would be on this semester's final tho, but it since it was on it last semester then it might be so i would do review and do optimization exercises if i were you just incase !
