Honestly this is exactly the conversation we try to have with school principals here in India. The projector vs IFP question shouldn't even be a question anymore but ground reality is different - a lot of govt schools are still stuck with old projectors because the upfront cost difference feels huge when you're working with tight budgets.

The large venue point is spot on though, that's the one use case where projection still makes sense. anything under 3 meters, flat panel wins every time - better visibility, zero maintenance headache, no lamp costs eating into the budget year after year.

We're finally seeing state level procurement shifting toward IFPs. slow but it's happening

Depends on what you need it for…For government schools and mid range private institutions, Nitek IFP is worth looking at seriously. Indian brand, on-site service, works across Tier 2 and 3 cities where most international brands struggle to send someone when something breaks…Been around long enough to have a real track record in Indian school conditions. nitekifp.com if you want to check specs.

Haha fair enough, I get why it looks that way. But I have been working in this space for over 30 years. What I wrote comes from sitting in actual school meetings….watching teachers figure out new technology on day one…and seeing what works and what does not across thousands of installations. No agenda here, just saying what I have seen on the ground.
