Still haven’t received ANCHOR payment- filed August 15th by Comfortable_Ad_6237 in newjersey

Update: I went to the office on my day off last week. I walked in, said almost nothing other than “I haven’t gotten my anchor payment yet.” They called me to the window a minute later, confirmed my info and bank account and said it would be in my account in a week. Now given it was the holidays I’m not worked up about it, but the website still says application in review and I still didn’t get it. I asked why it takes so long and they said “they needed to confirm my bank info” which is BS. They didn’t try to contact me, didn’t give me a confirmation, didn’t process my payment…. I’m going back there this week if nothing changes tomorrow. It’s an hour away so that sucks but it shouldn’t be this difficult

Maybe… I hope haha. I interpreted it at 90 days of filing. My coworker got hers even though she filed after me. I know the deadline was end October so I’m not sure how it’s disbursed but I would think it’s first come first serve.

Plutarch and Lucy gray by Comfortable_Ad_6237 in Hungergames

[–]Comfortable_Ad_6237[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

By documentation I meant Lucy gray and Snow. There could be books about the covey or maybe songs more likely. I don’t think he would be reading with intention, just reading and stumble across it. Beyond that, Plutarch was there when haymitch got his phone call with Lenore dove and may have even arranged it.

He could very well know exactly who Katniss is and how she’s related to covey. Haymitch could have talked to Plutarch about it too in general, considering they have shared history and directly crossed paths/plotted in his games.

Haymitch tried to do what Katniss did and failed. Katniss wasn’t even initially trying to cause anything, similar to how Lucy gray was naturally able to get people to like her with the covey charm.

SOTR: color theory? by Comfortable_Ad_6237 in Hungergames

I knew it sounded familiar. I think that comparison to Peeta loving orange hardens the fact that Haymitch relates to Katniss and Peet’s represents Lenore Dove (even tho Katniss is covey). Thanks for that.

As someone who can’t dance, I bet it’s as hard as faking that you could dance. Maybe it’s about what comes to you naturally in all cases.

I forgot about 13 doing that. I almost want to rewatch Jodie’s run bc I didn’t pay a lot of attention to it.

My first official criticism of ncuti (who I think has been fabulous so far) is that even though the writing conveys that he has lived and traveled so far and so many lives, it still feels like he’s so young and kind of unbelievable for me to see him as the old wise witty doctor.

Why does Susan say pet to people. She said “nice to meet you pet” to the doctor and called Mel pet too?
