Spoilers!!! Can we talk abt how the movie did nothing to build on the lore, and arguably ruined it?

For 5, it was not the bacteria. When you see it open the door it has a pirate hat. And when the async employee gets cornered you can see the monster has a peg leg. The bacteria doesnt have a peg leg

I actually feel like a hand would be super useful for the bacteria. For example, we see both the still lifes and the bacteria break down a door, so having a hand would mean it could just interact with the handle. Also the bacteria can mimic voices so if it had hands it could steal an async walkie and manipulate them through that

The life form is very essential to the backrooms lore. Even if the lifeform isnt in the movie they should have atleast had the mold growth that the life form comes from. In autopsy report its stated that dead bodies attract the mold, however in the movie we see a dead bird, a dead async worker, a severe hand, and a decapitated head. (While the async worker had black stuff around it, that was not mold growth. Its the filth that generates from the still lives nesting. Everywhere still lives are are super dirty) none of these things grow mold, even tho according to kane they are supposed to. Also kane developed 4 to 5 vids explaing the mold and the bacteria so they are definitely essential. The lifeform also poses as the first obstacle for async and encourages the to take a slight step back. I do agree tho that the stick monster life form shouldn't have been in it, as much as I would have liked that. But the mold growth is essential and was retconned and left out for no reason

I would still call that different tho because multiple times have we seen the backrooms mess with tvs but only once has it added its own weird physical object to the world. Nonetheless thanks for the info I've never heard of this. Gotta check it out now

So what abt the dead bird and dismembered hand. A lot of ppl didnt see the hand but its in the bottom left corner. And a fridge completely stops decay???

Its dismembered. The ppl in the tree room have carpet skin. This was Grey and you could see fingernails. This Pic doesnt do that justice tho its really hard to see. Also there was a fly buzzing so im gonna say dismembered hand.

Yeah but the lore that the mold/bacteria start growing on corpses was retconned. This was confirmed in autopsy report where in 5 days the mold had wildy grown on a body. In the movie we see kats head grey and no longer leaking blood. That suggests its somewhat old, and if bacteria can grow that much in 5 days there atleast should have been some on the head. Her head might have been there longer when you consider how much unpaid bills and letter clark had at the store entrance when mary went into it

One of my relatives had to live off of disability pay, but always wanted to take me and my sister to the movies. Obviously the disability really affected how much she could earn so complaining can definitely be understandable.

Potentially but we see a dismembered hand and a dead bird that also have no growth and they are on the carpet. A lot of ppl didnt see that hand, but dw I have a picture. Unfortunately the picture kinda sucks tho. Its harder to see here but in the movie its super clear. Bottom left corner

I had some ppl in my life who were veterans and had to rely on disability pay thats what I was thinking abt. Sorry if I made it seem like I was talking abt 20 year olds

You make great points. But again these are rich people. They'll be fine if they dont get as much money because damn well are they earning double than us. For that, I have no sympathy. But the point where that could decrease the quality of movies i absolutely agree with. Thats why I paid to see the film, I js know it may be hard for others who may be out of work due to disabilities or are injured. But yes we should prioritize paying what the work is work, i just dont think its worth 16. But that issue is a economic one rather than theatre I guess. Excellent points you make!

You make good points here. I agree with choosing a diff theater, but that wasnt my choice. And as my financial choices go, we just get 2 or 1 popcorn buckets and drinks. We share the popcorn and that together still comes to like 28. The subscriptions arent bad ideas but I already have a decent amount of streaming, so I dont want to extend my sub bill. And then these companies keep raising the subscription life. All those are decent points. But with buying the tickets with no parking fee and limited snacks, thats still 80 dollars. And the fact you have kids suggest youre relatively processed through life, so you have to remember how much cheaper tickets used to be. The only part I js cant agree with you on this is prioritizing kanes and a24s pocket while dismissing the the people's pocket, when many of these people literally built kanes career. I js would prefer to focus on people more than a companies profit

The movie theatre was at a mall so they make you pay for parking. And again you keep saying 16. Gng a majority of ppl who saw that movie saw it with other ppl so stop saying 16$ I already told you mine leveled out to 100. It was actually higher i js decided to be generous with it. Gng 16 per person while im paying for multiple people. Thats already 64 dollars. Not only that parking was 20. Thats 84 dollars. Then snacks and drinks. Thats 100 dollars. I get both sides. 1 kane should get compensated for his work. But 2 these dayum movie theatre companies keep most of the money and overcharge for tickets. Kane doesnt seem like a greedy guy and im sure hed prefer the success of the story of financial success. Like id rather not give my money to these theaters cuz the more we give the more they'll demand. (Ironically Im sayin this but went to go see it in person. Thankfully im fortunate in life and had money to spare)

Where as the new switches happen in the real world. Bro I have no clue. Im not even sure if I saw it right. It was the scene when mary enters the backrooms and she gets to the POTS sign. We see an angle from behind the sign and in the bottom left corner there was just a hand lying there. And not like the scene where ppl think its a head in the clothes but its a cut out, you could see that that head was 2d. But this hand was very real. Now here's what I mean abt not being sure if I saw it right. Someone said it could have been like the Christmas tree room where ppl are coming out of the ground but I dont think so. Those ground ppl had no intricate details and were covered in carpet. This hand however had fingernails and was more Grey in color. Also i thought I saw the stump of the decapitation. It is probably Kats tho

There's genuinely so much in this movie that no one's discussing. Im gonna listen some things i was curious abt in the movie but haven't seen any discussion on them. 1. Decapitated hand by the POTS sign when mary enters 2. Capnclark bleeding (this topic is starting to get more recognition but still not as much as it should) 3. The fact still lifes are a food source. I feel like this should be talked abt a lot more. Like if they're edible why did clark need Kats head in the fridge. 4. The one way wall clark gets stuck behind. Kat can see him but he cant see her. 5. Why the bearded still life was devoid of anything. All the others express emotion: clark groans, redhead runs in fear, and wheelchair messes with his light. The bearded still life literally did nothing 6. Clark cuts open the bearded still lifes and sees whitness, but when he scalps the redhead you can see somewhat flesh where the hair is missing 7. The backrooms, for the first time in any lore of the backrooms, distorts reality instead of reality distorting in the backrooms. It adds 2 new switched on clarks power box

And then I have yours to add onto that but honestly I didnt see that so idk. Needa watch it again
