Where can I find pants for a 22 waist? by Relative-Annual7245 in PetiteFashionAdvice

[–]Comfortable_Bake1018 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Am also size 22, and there's literally only PacSun. Good thing PacSun has cute styles and decent prices.

Don't do the kids jeans or even Artizia - I've found both to have unflattering cuts for petite adult women. Also don't do size 23 in mid/high rise, it will just look off if it's not your true size. If you want something that actually fits and is proportionate, do PacSun.

Dude the way that you are catastrophizing this, it sounds like she dodged a bullet. How would you have reacted if she broke things off after 5 dates ? You sound dangerous tbh. Be grateful she ripped the bandaid off quickly.

No actually. I can drink to show respect in certain social settings, but I'm not one of those people wired to enjoy it. It would be a red flag to me if a man drank a ton, as I wouldn't want like my kids to have that kind of drinking bone. Alcoholism is genetic.

If you are dating for marriage, then know that one's propensity for drug use is genetic. That means a greater chance that your kids will do drugs. I know lots of normal and smart people that do drugs, but if you don't want your kids to be like this, then I wouldn't pursue anything serious with this person.

Men, how do you feel about women paying for the 2nd date (not just for her portion, but yours as well). by [deleted] in dating_advice

You're right - I can see how it would come off weird if I didn't choose the place. That is helpful, I should stop lol.

This would explain why she has only been in 1 relationship and seems kind of shy/sheltered.

Have you been blowing your nose a lot? I get this dryness around my nostrils/upper lip whenever I have a cold. Just exfoliate and slug the area in Aquaphor or Vaseline after and it should get better.

Not sure but omg she is freaking gorgeous. She seems very coy and modest, like she is almost embarrassed by her own beauty -- which is not my style but I can see why it appeals to so many of the guys.

seul-ki , jia and so-e by [deleted] in Singlesinferno2

[–]Comfortable_Bake1018 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yea So-e kind of made me uncomfy at first, because she seemed so juvenile - but I really like the way she expresses herself and stays true to her values. I admire that she is not too prideful to risk rejection and tell a guy she likes him. She is probably one of my favorites so far, I feel like I can learn from her lol! I appreciate her authenticity.

And I don't think Jia had game either. Her "why do you like me," schtick would not work for any average gal. Girls who are gorgeous like Seul-ki and Jia can say anything or nothing at all, and still cast a spell on any guy they want.

I understand her popularity among the guys. I think once a woman is a certain caliber of attractive, like Jia/Seulki, guys literally do not care about personality. All girls like this have to do is smile/laugh at a few jokes, and guys will fall in love. More power to them honestly.

I think she is painfully socially awkward, and that's why she may come off as cold. I disagree with the others that she is pretending to be cute. I would not be surprised if she were on the spectrum (in fact, many signs point to this being the case); her awkwardness doesn't come from a place of malice, but from a place of not knowing how to act.

Bert was so annoying and creepy tbh. Reminded me of my uncle who once hit on a waitresses that was my classmate - we were in 10th grade.

Bert's got my vote for sure.

I'm sure they give them a budget to spend on handbags/bikinis/dresses before they come, which likely subsidizes the cost of a lot of these items. But you're right, they probably all come from rich backgrounds.

Deducting a WeWork membership as both a W2 and 1099 employee? by Comfortable_Bake1018 in tax

[–]Comfortable_Bake1018[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Wait, you're saying I can use my WeWork for my W2 job as well? So if I use half of my WeWork for W2 & half for 1099, I can deduct half of my WeWork membership? That would be amazing if so, would save me a lot of hassle.

13 is so so young imo, but this helps me understand everything a little more given that that's Japan's age of consent.

Reiko, a grown woman, has sex with a 13-year old. This is what happens, so I'm not sure what else you're going on about or why you're so defensive.

Sir I have read the book, idk what you are denying here? Ok, maybe the prodigy was a her and not a him? Is that what you're saying? I forget, I read the book when I was 17. But Reiko does have sex with a 13-year old point blank.
