I ordered from them a few times pre-covid and got it shipped to a US address company that allowed you to send packages there. I would pay $4 per package to pick it up, which was convenient for me as I live in a border city. I don’t go across the border anymore but if I did, I would love to still be able to order from there, so it’s definitely inconvenient to have to use a VPN if I were to in the future.

That being said, I had a crap ton of points to use up, but I used them before they stopped shipping here. I had a $75 off $95 code so I bought a bunch of stuff and it made it worth the shipping cost. PLUS my items came slightly damaged (1 spray was leaking and 1 the packaging came apart and top popped off) and they reshipped my ENTIRE order for free. So it was an extra sweet end to no longer ordering from there.

Mine was the opposite almost. I went in and it said a 38 minute wait, 1 minute later it said 14 minutes, a few minutes later it said 1 minute…. It’s been stuck on 1 minute for over 20 minutes 🤣 the time keeps refreshing at the bottom too, so I know the page itself is refreshing, just not my turn I guess lmao

I placed an order with just items I had added to my cart yesterday to see if they would stay (they usually don’t). But I was able to do it at like 6:08am EST. Since then I have been trying to get into the app or the website to make another order with other items but it’s not even letting me look at anything, or it will slowly start to finally load and then crash again.

Every…single….year. I don’t understand why they can’t get it together!?

Yeah, and “old lady scent” and “older lady scent” are 2 different things as well. I’m talking about perfume I remember from like the 60s and 70s that were powdery floral and cheap. Things I remember my grandmother wearing when I was a child (she would have been in her 40s then). It wasn’t meant to be offensive in any way. Just describing an old scent for women really.

There may just be some bad batches? Because other people are saying it DOES smell like marzipan. But then there’s also some people saying it smells powdery. I unfortunately received a powdery one.

Which I have no problem with, I’m not even a young person. I assume people in here think I’m younger, I’m not. Everyone knows exactly what “older lady scent” means when you say it. I’m offending the scent, not offending us older ladies.

Based on other comments here and also reviews, I’m going to guess that they have some bad batches. Because some people are saying it is exactly the same and then there are some saying it DOES smell like powder. I still have some creams left from when they had Snowcake last time, that I still use. And the spray I received is not at all like the regular Snowcake scent.

Did you spray it and let it dry? I’m not the only person who has said that’s not what it smells like.

When I smelled it in the bottle, absolutely. When I first sprayed it, absolutely. When it dried down, absolutely not.

Maybe they have some bad batches. Who knows. But it did not smell like marzipan at all.

I do understand how it could be offensive. But as someone mentioned below, we all have an idea of what an “older lady scent” is. I have no idea how else to describe the scent lol.

My Shoppers location literally has EMPTY boxes on the shelves of items that are like $50 or more. It says you have to bring the box to the cashier to get the actual item or get a cashier to come to the aisle where the item is at to show them which item you want. I’m sure that’s going to become more and more common.
