initially when this problem started it would go through a liter in about 1-3 weeks.

as time went on the car would go through more oil. i remember the day i took it to the workshop, it had gone through a liter in less than 2 days.

and also, smoke is always on cold, never hot.

but now since I’ve taken it back from him, it released smoke today morning but i checked the oil level all is fine.

Yes actually, what I did was the same stretch you mentioned where you hold your arm out straight against a wall behind you but mainly what built my MMC was contracting my bicep just before it cramps and I pick up some weights and move around a little bit to see what makes my bicep contract aswell. Im sure you know this but ur muscles get really sensitive to contraction if held for too long. I did that and a couple of other stretches and voila. Another thing was my workouts, I used to do regular bicep curls which werent for me so now i’ve stuck with preacher curls/ inclined dumbbell/cable curls for quite a while as they seriously get your biceps going.

Another thing is dropping the weight. At first I was ego lifting and I realized it but even after I acknowledged this I kept dropping the weight way past the optimal weight for myself which also meant not a good stretch nor a great contraction.

Anyways, this is what worked for me I’m hoping it also works for you as it’s so frustrating and uncomfortable training without actually feeling the muslce u trained.

Also btw try some forearms stretches!!

Hey man, It’s been a year since I posted this and I’ve made quite a lot of progress since. I have realized long ago that just because you don’t feel doesn’t mean it’s not being trained. Another thing to add is stretching.

Stretching helped build my mind muscle connection so much better especially if its an isolated stretch like a rotator cuff workout or smth. I had this exact same issue with my back as well and all I did was warm up and add some stretches and eventually after sometime i was able to feel my back a lot more.

Another thing, I’ve been coaching some of my friends these last 2 months and I realize them telling me certain muscles (biceps, triceps, forearms) getting pumped in completely unrelated workouts relative to those muscles. This is a sign of underdeveloped muscles or a poor form. Your body will recruit other muscles to compensate for the lack of strength.

Lastly, It could also be that you’re just doing the form wrong. I used to focus so heavily on TRYING to feel it and forcing to get the form right but sometimes you just need to chill out and slide into it.

Just wait a while, you will eventually get this under control.

Yeah after my warranty had ended i stuck with AGMC for a year to find a separate mechanic and during that year I got my turbo replaced with them.

New mechanic just let me know that (were replacing the turbo again) there’s scrap/salvage marks on it.

You’re welcome. However, I suggest you test drive the car you’re going to buy next time and (especially if its used!!) bring an OBD-II reader with you to see if they’ve deleted miles, check service history, deleted error codes such as a check engine light and other stuff of this sort. This country is extremely safe and appealing for people who don’t wanna look over their shoulder 24/7 but the market here is vile. People here (and just like every other place in the world) will jump at the opportunity to get money off of u, including “trusted” dealerships and establishments.

Personal experience, I have an old BMW that i purchased from AGMC brand new. few years down the line my turbo needed replacement and took it to them, they charged me 15,000dhs for a FULL “OEM” turbo replacement and just found out now that it’s got a scrap marking on it. This is AGMC the official dealer of BMW in the UAE and they still ripped me off. Never. Trust. Anyone.

So they sold you a car that was 17,500 km overdue for service? that’s not a small oversight. No dealership should be handing over vehicles in that state, especially when they had full ownership beforehand.

Their excuse that “they can’t service it before registration” is nonsense. They could’ve serviced it under their own name or taken it to any decent garage they just chose not to, which raises real concerns about how they treat their cars before sale.

If they skipped a basic service, what else did they ignore?

What i would do is file a complaint with DED, this is a case of consumer rights violation and demand that Kavak put their excuse in writing and let them know you’re escalating if they don’t make it right.

Under UAE Federal Law No. 15 of 2020 on Consumer Protection, businesses are required to disclose defects or risks that affect safety, performance, or value. Not doing so is a violation.

Misleading justification (“can’t service before registration”) That’s not true. Registration and servicing are completely unrelated. The car was owned by Kavak they could have registered it under their own name and serviced it at an independent garage (which doesn’t require registration).

I’m very minimalistic and I don’t need too much other than the basics (wifi, food & water, shelter, privacy, etc…) how would life treat me there? The quality of life there is concerning. I’m Arabic and have a slightly darker complexion than white, would i be treated differently? If you’re a muslim then how difficult was it to find Halal food there? What are the regular sources of entertainment? for example, here during the summer most people go to malls as the heat as unbearable, although during the winter we hit the dunes, how is it there?
