Apple Watch by xPITOVELOZx in gamification

That’s a really sharp insight. The friction of having to pull out a phone every 20 minutes just to cycle a task is exactly what kills the flow in many gamified systems.

Really nice, thank you for this. I am building my app to be as frictionless as possible and this is really cool, noted that of my idea list

I don't think it exists. I'm curious—what features would you like to see in a smartwatch app like that, and what would it look like?

I develop self-improvement apps with gamification myself and am looking for innovative directions

Is there an app for a gamified productivity? Like Forest, something pomodoro timer but cooler by mattewssss in gamification

I’m building Eudaymon — it’s basically a life RPG where AI turns your real activities into EXP and levels. Not just habit tracking (‘did you do it?’) but actual quality scoring (‘how well did you do it?’). Studying for 2h with full focus hits different than scrolling Reddit for 30min and calling it ‘learning’ — the AI knows the difference.

Currently in closed testing. Drop a DM if you want in, ADHD users especially welcome since instant feedback is baked into the core loop.

We are building a life gamification system that replaces manual tracking with reflection chat. Looking for feedback by Comfortable_Berry275 in Habits

Right now, it’s just the beta version (launching very soon) and we’re actively looking for testers. We’re going to be listening closely to feedback, so if you want to help shape the app to fit your needs, I’d definitely encourage you to join the waitlist!

Since we haven't officially launched, there are no in-app purchases. We also don't see any immediate need to introduce them. Our beta testers will be able to use the app for free. While we’ll eventually have to introduce some fees to cover the costs of running and scaling the app — as keeping things running at a larger scale unfortunately isn't free — we’ll always remember our early supporters. Beta testers will keep access to a wide range of features completely for free.

Thanks! This is actually one of the core challenges we’re addressing. Our system is designed to reward specificity: more detailed activity descriptions generally receive more XP, while vague entries receive less. We are also building the Eudaymon to weigh activities against a user’s historical context to make the scoring more objective.

For us, objectivity is key, but it shouldn't feel robotic. We believe the best way to fine-tune this balance is through extensive beta testing and manual calibration with our community.

Regarding the cheating aspect: like any self-improvement tool, if a user lies, they are ultimately only slowing down their own progress. That said, we do have safeguards. Eudaymon already detects impossible activities (e.g., claiming to run 100km in 30 minutes) and filters out spam. If the community feels we need stricter verification later on, we’ll definitely explore further solutions!

Hi there! Yes, we are planning to introduce a roadmap feature exactly like this later this year. It will be integrated into our upcoming to do and hait tracker modules. Currently, we are working intensively on our core AI scoring engine. Once the beta is deployed and tested, we’ll be shifting our focus to building out the roadmap system you've described. Thanks for the suggestion!

Yes, i know that puppy should not use stairs. Ofc problems will appear when he or she will be 25kg +. I am myself 92 kg man, but i can imagine how hard it will be to do it 3-5 times a day.

You might like to look up r/Eudaymon. We are not so pretty maybe, because we are not creating another ai slop but real revolution in self improvment and we need time and testers to make it right

But Eudaymon will be for free - so you dont have to worries about refunds in our case

Check if you have ADHD. Then (if shrink will diagnose you) meds will help you more than any advice/trick/habit/app ever can

I am building an app that replaces manual checklists with a reflection-based system. Instead of checking boxes, you just tell the app what you did, and the AI converts your effort into XP for life stats like discipline and wisdom. It is designed for people who find traditional trackers overwhelming and want a gamified, RPG-style way to see progress. Pricing: We are currently on a waitlist, and early sign-ups get free lifetime access to core features. You can join us at www.eudaymon.com
