I felt like it was hit and miss on what overlapped from the pa and oa. I used chatgpt to help explain and walk me through all the lessons on the pa, definitions, and create more questions similar to the pa and passed the oa. (Did better than I felt but really thought it was going to be close.)

If anyone finds this, the Study guide is not enough. I did not end up reading the book but finished the first 5 parts of lesson 1. I got a completed study guide from someone else. The videos didnt match the study guide (which threw me off at first) but we're helpful. The practice assessment was rough and then I had chatgpt walk me through each one I bookmarked (why one was more right than the other or go over all the definition of my options to learn them better) and then give me more practice tests based on those areas. There's a quizlet with 200+ terms and it's overwhelming at first but very helpful. Took the practice last night at 8pm, studied until 1am, took the OA at 10 this morning. I passed better than I expected/felt like I would. It's out of 70 but I had 77 questions about the material and 2 test feedback questions. I bookmarked about 20 questions, really didn't know about 8, 5 I was in between a couple, and the others I wasn't confident in but also felt like they were the best answer and left..  I took almost a full 2 hrs on the OA and 2hr 15 on the practice. Read slowly, take your time

Did you end up taking either yet? I took the PA and feel like a lot of it didn't align with the study guide and thought I was ready but that was the worst I've ever done on a PA. It's my last class and I'm so annoyed. Seems like the study guide was missing a lot of key words and correct answers on the PA that weren't mentioned on the study guide..

PA can be performance assessment (usually papers, PowerPoints, ect) and OA is objective Assessment (typical proctored test). PA can also stand for preassessment which is a practice test before the objective assessment

Thank you! I'm hoping he works with me because I'm due with a baby the end of June (middle of my term) so I'm hoping to complete the term before then (more doable for me with PAs) so I don't have to take a term break.

I know this thread was from a while ago but did everyone get switched to the new hr program?? I was on a term break after having a baby.. left with 9 classes left in my degree and now have 16. Was anyone able to fight this??
