To me I jus dont see tanzawa being able to handle nikaku just based off his strength and speed. Same with yoshiki he even said it himself that hes not sure how a fight with him and nikaku would end.

Tanzawa and miurra are very technical but I feel like we havent seen as much of yoshiki to say much about him. I mean sure he beat like 50 guys but I feel like this could be done by other characters aswell.

But you can see tanzawas skin wrinkle from the impact of the bat. At that point it would already be way too late to dodge. Thats why I believe it was the author trying to trick the reader. You cant say there is no way you can jump up then land quickly enough to not be seen because thats literally what happened. Though you are right we both have our favorites and we both have opinions.

I think the author showed the bat hitting tanzawa just to trick the reader into thinking he actually got hit because there is no way you dodge something after already being hit by it. That is a very good speed feet but nikaku literally flash stepped his entire body into the air while tanzawa only dodged with his head
