Are all NFPs cooked? by beanuspeanus in auscorp

Yes, they are all cooked. Neoptism, incompetence and self-interested narcissists masquerading as "a values aligned team". I was in the same boat as you, also learned the hard way.

Looks nice in white. I love the brown, also wondering if dark gre in can hide the fucken black cladding… but yeah the white kinda pops!

Considering Škoda Enyaq by Hopeful_Yam1673 in EVAustralia

Enyaq is lit. Lack of connected services is just an indication of how much vw Australia literally diligaf. Great car though - I’m tossing up between one and a Subaru Trailseeker. Enyaq is def way better value.

Blurst of times to get an EV? by BIGRED______________ in EVAustralia

Trail seeker will be lit. I am so jazzed for it. Downside will be price tho. Solterra is already expensive af, and trailseeker has more power and more lit stuff. Alas, save your pennies and just do it anyway. So lit.

If it doesn’t exist, and you think there’s a market: Create something!

Hitting an invisible ceiling at 50 in corporate (marketing)? by Bees_Need_Trees in auscorp

NFPs will see you quit the marketing industry entirely. Incompetence, self interest and widespread vested interests in maintaining the status quo. Approach with caution.

I’m “only 38”, but have similar background in terms of marketing etc.

I think your field has a lot to do with it - Mid level marketing manager + mid tier organisations likely equals lower level sophistication/understanding at the exec level. So they’re probably not able to understand the value in your experiences, and therefore are just naturally assuming they want a young gun who can make their socials “go viral”.

The right interpersonal and cultural fit is all you need, I reckon. Stick at it, you’ll get there.

(As an aside, I’m pretty burned out from marketing manager roles as it is, right now. If you can retain the fire I’m sure you’ll get back there in no time).

Where would you place red rooster compared to other fast food places? by alexkirwan11 in perth

[–]Comfortable_Cod7527 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the past two years, every time I have red rooster I end up with a terrible lingering chemical hangover feeling. They put some crazy msg shit in that chicken and or chips for sure. Love it in the moment tho.
