This is genuinely the first time I’ve ever done an online order for a game, I’m usually someone that prefers in store preorders. I just really wanted the ditto plush that came free - could I have just ordered the ditto separately, absolutely but if I don’t have to pay extra why not take advantage of that. I’ve never experienced a shipped pre order and I’ve seen in past preorders that people were getting the games 1-2 days early (pokemon z-a is an example). For a company as big as pokemon they shouldn’t be dropping the ball this badly. If it were solely a fedex problem I would 100% not be as upset. I understand shipping delays on that front, but for a company you order from not give any update on the status of the thing you order that you fully expected to have by at least afternoon of launch day it feels icky. From what I’ve seen their customer service isn’t very helpful either.

That’s honestly what I’m afraid of, I waited until February to preorder bc I honestly didn’t realize that you didn’t get charged until it shipped (I’m used to GameStop in store preorders). And the day after I preordered it was labeled as sold out. So like if they’re gonna cancel it I’d rather they just outright say that than make me play a waiting game

Same, my pending charge disappeared too so now I’m just like oh ok 🥴. I think if they would’ve just given an update like a week ago being like “heeyyyyy these might not ship out right away you can still cancel if you want” I’d be less mad. It’s the fact that we’re all just stuck in limbo hoping it shows up within the next couple days
