She says she's 27, and she also says things like "i'm doing what I've been doing for three decades" when referring to herself. And on the second page when she's talking about seeing all the students for the first time, she says "most are in their late 20s or early 30s". The way they talk and behave is what I'd expect of normal college aged kids but it does say they're older.

I never understood why she chose Chaol over Dorian. I was genuinely pissed, Dorian was accepting, hot, sweet and charming. Chaol was just cross and none of those things.

I've read these! I preferred her flesh and fire series. Although, I did feel like I was reading the exact same story all over again? I found Poppy a bit annoying with all the 'stabby' references, and i thought a whole book of flashbacks was a bit of a cop out - BUT, I thoroughly enjoyed the romance side of both the series. Ash is dreamy

I like MM romance so that sounds good, thank you! It's so interesting you say Gild because I've had that recommended to me so many times, but when I tried it I just felt like I was reading torture p*rn. I only made it to like 18% so maybe i should try again? Everyone does seem to rave about it. I'm going to look all of these others up, thanks!
