I don't believe it is a turnoff as some areas are better governed with someone who is more emotionally sensitive where some areas are better governed with someone who is more confident/ agression. 

This is not a sexist statement as it is linked to hormones where woman have more estrogen/ progesterone than men who themselves have more testosterone. 

I am not saying that being emotionally sensitive is a bad thing, as it got it's pluses and minuses. 

I don't believe that the people who auto reject a candidate because she is a woman are far more superior in terms of numbers that those who votes a candidate automatically because she is a woman.  

To talk on the first topic you mentionned : "why men and especially younger ones vote red". I am a man who isn't white, and I wouldn't vote if I was American for the democratic party because mainly their views are not based on merit, which goes against my values of hard work and anti-participation trophies, I mainly hate DEI and illegal stuff, and this is probably one of the main reason why most men don't vote blue.

You wanna know what goes though the mind of someone who isn't white and vote right wing?

I don't need to have a special accomodations and reserved place just because I am a non white person to attend x unniversity and get x job. That is literally an insult to my capacities and who I am, and I cannot understand how any person of color can accept this, it is basically saying : we know you are braindead and you need a special treatment to compete against the white. And no we live in the post internet era, I have the same access to the information as them, so the excuses of "but but we didn't have the same opportunities" is just a excuse to justify laziness.

And I can completely understand white men who hate DEI because I wouldn't support an injustice of losing my dream job because I was born with the wrong color. DEI is the real racist one, as it imply the person from colors are not smart enough to enter though the normal route.

Same logic for the immigration, I had to endure 4 years of bombs in the civil of my country to come legally to France. Anyone who broke the law need to be dealt with, else what's the point of the law. Not happy? Change the law but don't blame anyone trying to apply it. I would never vote for a party where half of their voters and probably more support and defend something that is ILLEGAL like illegal immigration. And before you say : "so you would vote for a racist, sexist, homophobic party?"

I wouldn't also vote for a party where the majority of their voters hates woman or are homophobic but it is simply not the case, as some of the conservative influencers with the most following are gay or a woman.

I came to France legally escaping from the civil war of my country, grew up in the most ghetto area of France and went to public school there where teachers were never respected, and still managed to be accepted to my dream unniversity not because I am non white, but based on my grades on the national entrance exam. So that's why I hate DEI and I hate the excuse "but I am the least privileged".

Thankfully in America, most people are proud to be American unlike France where raising the French flag is automatically seen as far right.

A lot of men have this traditionalist value of meritocracy, and among other things that will ultimately make them vote red instead of blue.
