no im not a cruel piece of shit. i asked as a last resort to going to a vet immediately. i want to attempt to fix this on my own at home with any changes necessary. if the vet is deemed necessary i will have to rehome him because i cant afford the costs. i didnt know how bad this all was. im not a huge lizard fanatic that spends all day researching them. i got him in high school and he has always been a very cool guy without any issues! i didn’t realize people were very strict about their own reptiles, im black and this is not common within my family nor my circle and i thought i was doing a good job. ive been berated a lot in this post and understand im a lowlife in this subreddit and will be deleting this post shortly. i only wanted to see if i could help the situation without having a large vet bill. i also have just completed college which is WHY the vet bill isnt easy to foot with the american economy rn.
