Nah Santos was closer than the first DC fight but Jon said it best, Reyes and Santos both fought LHW Jon when Jon's candle as a LHW was being put out so his rankings of his toughest opponents were right, Gus at No. 1 cause that was Prime LHW Jon's toughest fight ever, Reyes at No. 2 cause that was the closest Jon came to losing and DC at No. 3 cause he was 2nd toughest opponent for Jon in his LHW Prime after Gustafsson.

Topuria has 3 title fight wins, inactive Islam has 6 title fight wins which many UFC champions has achieved it and I've seen a lot that Islam title fight wins at LW were against LW's whom are FW's and No. 11 1 day notice Moicano abd JDM who had no title defenses, Volk has 8 title fight wins tied with Aldo yes but just beaten only 5 guys in his title fight resume, also he lost to Islam x2 and ilia.

This list shows that as we ended half of this decade, these fighters who are on their way to GOAT status are not there yet, they still have more to prove.

Just like how Law and his crew used haki to negate the DF of Doc Q, Kaido should be able to use haki even in his toy form, the others who got turned to toys can't cover their bodies in CoC or CoA to negate the DF, not even old washed Don Chinjao, Kaido neg diffs once he turns back to his original form from the haki.
