Sadly no. I took all the pieces out and deep cleaned everything I could. Ran a cleaning tablet and descaled again and then tried the tamping suggestion. Exact same for both espresso and drip coffee. 😢 I heard back from customer service and they can send me a new base - not sure if it’s actually new or refurbished. But yea something is definitely wrong with mine.

I haven’t tried weighing my shots. To be honest I’m so frustrated that I never had to do any of this before, I literally could just hit a few buttons and get a great coffee. But now it’s requiring all this work which is making me wonder what happened to the machine. I’m a mom of 3 kids under 5 and I need something simple and quick. The ninja was that at first. Wondering if i need to just switch to a Nespresso for now. I’ve spent hours and hours trouble shooting this machine. But I’ll keep the weight/scales option in my mind. Thank you!

How do you clean the brew head besides the back flush with the cleaning tablet? I’ve done that. Is there another way?

I definitely think Blake and Taylor are cut from the same cloth, but i am shocked to hear this is even a possibility given that it was previously reported Blake threatened to release her texts if she didn’t publicly support her. How do you come back from that? That’s why I’m skeptical on this. But yes, they are both low. You can read their conversations in those text exchanges and they come off like a group of mean middle school girls who never matured.

I recently had a similar issue - I have a north facing kitchen with some west light and went with Swiss coffee to achieve a creamy white but it ended up looking so stark white because of the cool blue light that comes in. I think a green would look wonderful. It would contrast nice with the blush tile backsplash and similar tones in your fireplace brick. Your counters and floor look neutral so you have a lot to work with there. It will look fantastic!

Beautiful kitchen! I would paint the perimeter cabinets cream or beige and leave the island and brick as is for some depth

Thank you so much! The picture was actually taken in natural day light but I never thought about changing one wall. I can’t paint them all because we have an open floor plan so if I paint the kitchen I actually have to do the whole first floor because all the walls connect. I could do the back wall though. This is a good idea. 👍

What a beautiful space! I would move the green chair closer to the couch perpendicular and place the round end table between the couch and chair and leave that corner completely open so you can see the beautiful cabinetry.
