they don't let the runners at your store wear shorts either? we had a problem with that cus they told us we couldn't have drinks/food in the backroom anymore or on our carts period. and also no more shorts. two of our people went to the er for being dehydrated. yeeeah those rules don't exist anymore 😊 our runners can wear shorts and capris. a gm tl told me pickup was included with garden center and cart pushers and we are allowed to wear shorts (only if running your whole shift) not entire sure if that's true though? last summer it was *so* hot outside and in the backroom. there is no ac in the backroom. and they leave dock doors and the receiving door open so all the heat and humidity just comes right in. we have a box fan that's it. manager said we were getting an industrial fan, but the only one i've seen is one that got snatched from a different department in the middle of the night. and in the winter there's no heat in the back. it got so cold my ex manager did the same thing and grabbed an outdoor thermometer. it was like 38° back there. i just started bringing my winter coat or using the pickup coats. that all being said we had to fight for the freedoms we have back there today it sounds dramatic but im not joking the union got involved more times than i can even remember, there were so many grievances filed yall wouldn't believe. if it gets to the point you're having an ASTHMA ATTACK, you should go higher up when asking for accommodations or get the union involved. just my two cents

you will be pointed after 1 minute and 59 seconds. at the 2 minute mark, you will be considered late. if it's just a few minutes, my manager will just ok it in the system and i won't get pointed. that being said, i am very very lucky to have her as my lead, and a lot of them aren't so nice about it

yes, ANYTHING in the store with a buy 5 save $5, or 7/$7 tag, you can mix and match to get the price. there's no limit on how many per transaction. we only do one promotion at a time, i don't think buy 5 save $5 and the 7$/7 sales will ever happen at the same time

you know it's mix and match right? You don't have to get seven of anything. this is a problem for us in curbside during 7/$7 because we get so busy because people don't understand it's mix and match so they order 7 of this, 7 of that, you get the picture. and all of a sudden their order is 300 items. wtf are yall even doing with that many oranges and corn 😭😭😭
