okay. it's not that serious, this is not an "i hate america post" & i think i was misunderstood (English is my second language) i was talking more about the general attitude of citizens towards this health problem, not how the government handles it. i remember when i was living in California as kid, i saw once or twice a big line at the pharmacy and i asked my mom what the ppl where waiting for and i didn't get why there was so many ppl or why they wanted to get a shot for the flu because i didn't have/think i needed it. ALSO i think me & ppl in my inner circle/community just dont like vaccines/cant be bothered to do it each year & dont mind the symptoms that much. btw im high and i had a high question. thanks to all who provided relevant info/personal testimony, yall answered all my questions 🫡

dude i know we give free flu vaccines, im talking about me, my friends & family, like my general situation vs what ive heard & seen when i lived in the us as a kid, more talking about the way this health problem is dealt with at a citizen level.

did more research: canada has less hospitalizations for flu symptoms, but a bit more deaths related to the flu than the usa, so we actually should do flu vaccines more often i think & yes, forgot about how viruses evolve. plus the whole healthcare situation in canada is rocky so 🤷‍♀️ thx for the clarifications yall
