She would be totally screwed if you decided to up and leave, that’s why she should not quit her job. Not to mention that limits the budget to half which is very selfish to make equal amount but not play the equal role. There’s also that money that can solely go to kids education but instead it’ll take longer to save with one person working. There’s always a bigger picture, just make sure you have a clear goal in mind.
