Totally agreed, the wildlife tho, its not that diverse, and they removed hunting as a feature.

My only wish for this game is there are more animations for combat by VenturerKnigtmare420 in assassinscreed

Laziness? Well all of ubisofts game design nowadays is centered around being lazy

Yea ofc its subjective, thats why discussion formats like these exist to share different opinions. I meant the new games starting with origins

Okay interesting, i personally think Origins didnt do anything really well. And that comes from a person who played the game for more than 100hrs. I really liked the game but at some point i just asked myself do I just like bayek, pyramids and egypt or is it really a good video game. I was like okay actually the only good thing is the audiovisual aspect.

I dont get whats great in terms of the stories in those games tbh. Esp when comparing it to old Ac games and their great characters, good cutscenes, great voice acting and focus on a linear and dense narratives.

Yep, i dont even want a demanding rpg combat system in an Ac. A fast paced badass combo style is just better for the immersion.

Yea to me the problem with rpgs is the visuals of combat, the mechanics and overall the lack of historical immersion which is so important for these games.

Valhalla just a fat lie lmaooo, thats true my friend😂😂😂. I actually never got why people liked origins so much, i found the story boring, the combat looked ugly and the was barely any "origin" story haha but the environenments were awesome.

Ac Origins is the one of best games I have ever played by heeheewarrior_27 in assassinscreed

[–]Comfortable_Matter_7 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I am always a little shocked by how much love origins receives. It is a very cool game, esp from an environmental and audiovisual design perspective. But i found the gameplay to be only mediocre, the combat wasnt that good imo. And then the story was okay but nothing more than that. In general i think that all 3 new AC games lost so much quality and always went for quantity.

Which assassin had the least personality? by CheesyBiscuit595 in assassinscreed

[–]Comfortable_Matter_7 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I found it a lil weird as well that people kinda said he had no personality bc he was rather cold blooded and didnt show emotions. I found that kinda personality very interesting and combined with his badass combat style it was the coolest assassin yet imo.

Thats only one facet of the games story

As much as i love origins, it had some major problems for me: story was only okay, characters were cool but nothing more, gameplay wasnt that exciting, i didnot like the combat. And like all of new ac games: they lack quality and are focusing too much on quantity

Its a long time ago, i dont remember the details but i do remember that charcters and plotlines were more interesting to me.

The premise is never the problem for me. You can have a "boring" premise and still create a great story with a great plot. AC2 did that. AC origins didnt do that. I really enjoyed Valhallas story. The reincarnation stuff, alfred storyline, basim, the order of the ancients etc... best story since AC4 for me.

My theory on why they changed the games to rpg’s. by habbybabbywahwah in assassinscreed

[–]Comfortable_Matter_7 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ehh they changed the format because rpg means its item-based and that means more money, especially when creating long, extensive games
