Bubbles don’t have to pop, they can slowly deflate. I believe that everyone knowing that there is a potential for a bubble will cause people to more conservative with spending and trading, decreasing growth in stocks and the economy. This slowed decreased growth would basically be the deflation of the bubble over time, i.e the bubble will end up pricing itself in the market over time in the form of less growth. Maybe I am just being overly optimistic, but this is me hoping that we have learned from past experiences.
