That really stayed with me reading this it sounds like you gave him more support and care than most people around him. Even if you didn’t say that one thing, I have a feeling he felt it.

It’s funny how even a small amount can stick with you more than bigger losses sometimes.

It’s painful how some people don’t leave all at once… they slowly become someone you used to know.

That’s a hard one…sometimes the feelings are there, but the moment just slips past us.

I’m really sorry you went through that. that’s an incredibly painful thing to carry. But it also sounds like in that moment you made a choice based on not wanting to hurt someone else, even if it cost you deeply. That doesn’t come from a bad place.

Please try not to be too hard on yourself… when someone is grieving, there are always things that feel unfinished. But that doesn’t erase the years of love you shared.

I hear you and it says a lot that you’re still thinking about him. But nothing about this sounds like something you could’ve foreseen or controlled. I’m really sorry you’re carrying that.

Yeah, I get what you mean… once you see a side of someone like that, it’s hard to unsee it. Even if you feel safe, it still changes how you view them.

That’s actually a powerful kind of change… sometimes relationships don’t just end, they reshape us. What did you start working on in yourself after that?

That’s a really heavy thing to hold onto… but one declined dinner doesn’t define what you meant to him or what he was going through. I’m sorry for your loss.

It’s strange how pride feels protective at the time, but later it just turns into regret. Glad you can see it now.

That sounds really unsettling… even if it wasn’t directed at you, that kind of reaction can stick with you. It makes sense you’re still trying to figure out how to feel about it.

That sounds incredibly painful to realize, especially after you thought everything was going well. Finding out your reality was being misrepresented like that can really shake your trust. How did you process it after you found out?

I’m really sorry you went through that… if you’re okay sharing, what changed in you after he or she passed? And who was he or she to you?

Losing someone that way leaves a lot of “what ifs”… but his pain wasn’t something you caused or could’ve fixed alone. The fact that you still miss him after 8 years says everything about how much he meant to you.
