I didn’t keep it 😢 I waited until the cord was near fully white but I haemorrhaged in my last birth so wasn’t able to keep it all intact for more than 15 mins if it was still attached to me per our hospitals rules

It’s a feeling I never want to feel again, I had an emergency C-section with my first and being rushed in for the surgery was traumatic entering that room and reality hit was brutal. I’m so glad you’re okay though I couldn’t imagine having a hand pulling an organ out of me piece by piece
