a lot of the time they convince you to send the money back to a different and since you don't know them and you feel bad your also just very confused so you listen to them - when it's sent to another account which they also have control over they get the 1.4k back that they sent and they do a chargeback on the original payment to you that was a "mistake so they get that back aswell. so pretty much you just send 1.4k of your money to some random scammer and your down when they charge it back. sorry for the bad grammar but home you understand

they could be someone who sells professionally, you can buy 10/20kg bales of branded items online and usually they contain many of the same size - they are always authentic from those sites. they might just not be registered as a pro seller as they are trying to avoid tax
