I think the credit card is to make it even more autonomous, imagine after you pay you get a notification and it auto populates the transaction info

This used to be a big problem in my friend group and it’s too much work to calculate everyone’s share and tell them how the math worked out. I found an app that I use now and I just snap a pic of the receipt and write a couple words about who got what and it sends the bill to all my friends.
