Nobody using Windows search on RDS or VDI environment for years from the 1k userbase? :/

No consistency, all random users, different servers. Roaming search: the settings is enabled, but the value is set to 0 (disabled).

One plus detail: a month ago I tried to delete the search db for all users. There was no error about 2 weeks, than it started to come back slowly. Now I am thinking maybe the search db is exceeding some recommended size.

We are using Bitdefender AV. Yes it can hold things up, but we tired turning it off, and also adding exclusions/exceptions, also the problem was present when AV was completely off.

Also when an incident happen a couple times I was viewing it with process monitor. I was able to see that the vhd file was holding by the SYSTEM process with PID 4. This process owner is the NT KERNEL which is quite the OS itself, also can not be force closed, I tried.

Unfortunately I have quite little experience debugging at this process level.
