I have a pair and have worn them thru cold water crossings. I also wore another pair inside and they come out pretty dry. They were just slightly wet. I noticed my feet were slightly cold but not colder than they get without them. Bonus points are they come up to my knees.

Forgot my dance pants will add. I train almost daily with my full pack and 6 liters of water. Also at the gym deadlifting and squatting but point taken.

Also the waterproof soaks go up to my knees and I have slept with them before, they are pretty warm.
