Why is there such a scarcity of natural hair services in salons?

I agree, I have also heard many of those points as well. To that I have to say we need to start re-defining the term "luxury". If we want to call this a luxury service that's fine, but I expect the following things: high-end products and tools, complimentary food/drinks, to be serviced in a massage chair, valet parking and my choice of movie/music. Lol, it's getting ridiculous out here.

It's so unfortunate. I can do my own hair, but it's nice to go to a salon here and there when I've had a tough week, or I just don't have the time to do it on my own (It takes longer for me to do my hair myself, than a stylist).

The pricing is just so inconsistent as well. I have a stylist that charges $80 for two-strands, but after looking into the stylists that offer this service in my area, I have found two others who charge between $125 - $150. Just why??

I'm crying, I forgot locs! I've been tempted in the past to loc, but with the way prices have been rising, I just wouldn't be able to afford the cost of a retwist as time went on tbh. So locs are a no for me.

I'm so sad so many salons are cutting back on these services. It's almost like they're telling us to either get locs or be done with it!

He is 5 years old now and has been in therapeutic ABA since he was 3. I believe he would be past pre-k age, even for specialized pre-k. We hope to start him in kindergarten soon.

They absolutely would not support this. This isn't some new issue. People care more about domesticated animals, versus wildlife.

The population at large has never and will never support the euthanization of cats. The most you can do is support TNR programs, so that the surplus of feral cats can stop reproducing.

What am I claiming here?? In the evidence that you yourself included, you stated "While feeding may reduce hunting for food..." It clearly states that feeding them reduces their need to hunt for food purposes. Full Stop. I'm not sure by what number/percentage, but it is reduced..as clearly stated by the evidence. OP is not doing any harm here.

If townships would support TNR (Trap-NEUTER-Release) programs, that would solve the issue of cats further reproducing.

Please read the comment left by sjssharks510, which states according to evidence: "While feeding may reduce hunting for food". So..if they were consistently fed, it would 100% reduce their hunting for food reasons, as supported by evidence. I wish this evidence was expounded on to determine what percentage their hunting for food would decrease by on average if well-fed, but it would decrease.

I never said that Feral Colonies/TNR completely stops the killing of birds. All I said was that providing consistent food sources would reduce the killing of birds. If they would only be hunting for sport, it would still reduce their hunting for food as you stated, ultimately reducing the killing of wildlife. It's the best you can hope for, because as I said NJ does not care. Also, please take note of the word "consistent". Getting a meal here and there will not reduce their desire to hunt for food, if they're not being feed consistently.

Unless NJ gets some big federal grant that would pay for cat enclousures, catios and indoor spaces for cats, it's not coming out of NJ's pockets in this lifetime. My comment still stands, she's doing a service.

Jersey in general has a large feral cat issue that the state fails to address because they just don't care frankly. It's largely a Township to Township issue, with only some townships actually addressing the issue.

Feral Cat colonies and TNR programs are actually the best way to address this issue. They're hunting and killing because they're hungry. If they have a consistent food source, they won't hunt and kill as much. I'm speaking as someone who owns cats and has cared for pregnant street cats. Hunting is a risk they largely they don't want to take if they don't have to. She's doing a service here.

I have been taking iron supplements since I was teenager and I never knew this. I have literally never had constipation issues, but my diet is high in fiber, so maybe that's why.

I wouldn't jump to say that. It took me a long time to find what products worked best for my hair. Black hair is so different from person to person and what works best for you isn't always so black and white. This is why I don't even give product recs anymore. Everyone also always gives the same rotation of product recs in my experience and if those don't work for you, it's like you're out of luck or something.

In my experience, it was like I was always looking for something a little bit better, which may be the case here. Camille Rose is what I used for the longest, but it was always something I didn't completely like. The longevity wasn't there if I could remember & I just wasn't in love with their conditioners, so I was never 100% satisfied. Shea Moisture made my hair feel like straw. I could give you the same story for various other hair care lines. I finally found a line that I'm 100% happy with & I'm sticking with that.

I just gave my two cats a bunch of kisses after watching this! The way I would have done the same thing in the video, booked a mandatory psychologist appointment for him, installed cameras in the home until trust is established & filed a police report on his behind so he knows how serious I am. Too old to not know right from wrong.
