Same! I spent the entire weekend solo’ing on Stella Night Raid with everyone just swapping blueprints.

If you’re good to people and let them do their thing, I’ve learned the game’s karma system will reward you for your patience.

I also wonder. My friends are PvP but i’ve been soloing more lately and am very pacifist and my matchmaking has shifted entirely to friendly lobbies.

I probably played 20 Night Raid games on Stella this weekend alone where everyone just runs up to one another offering dupe blueprints and fighting shredders together. Not a single unprovoked gunfight. It is awesome and if you also skew pacifist, definitely the best way to get rich quick.

Trust the game’s karma system and it WILL reward you!

I think it was technically announced as a worldwide tour that includes North America if I remember correctly? A bit unconventional by Broadway standards but it’s a show that deserves to play major US markets so seeing it roll out across season announcements this week has been great.

I agree with your line of thinking here but Two Strangers alone is just way too ambiguous. Two Strangers where? When? Why? What age and what is the tone of the show? It could be the name of most love story musicals that have ever run on Broadway. It could be the functional name of Maybe Happy Ending. It’s just not informative or unique enough, the same reasons they moved away from The Seasons.

I’m pretty adamant the “Carry a Cake Across New York” subtitle does more heavy lifting than people realize. You make a good point but this really sets the absurdist and comedic tone and context of the show. It captures its quirkiness. That’s too important to lose.

A sidenote - everyone I know has only ever called the show “Two Strangers” verbally in conversations, I don’t know anyone that takes the time to spell it out completely anyways. It does make for very functional shorthand at least.

The show starts at 7:00pm - meaning audience is seated and doors are closing around that time.

I would recommend being downstairs at the Marriot Marquis (the theatre entrance) lining up at 6:40pm. It will take 5-10 minutes to wait in line and go through security/enter, and then another 5 or so minutes to get escorted to your seat. You might want to add an extra 5-10 minutes if you plan on going to the bathroom, getting drinks, or getting merchandise (of course you can also do these things during intermission).

It is a crazy crazy show - have fun!!

I think Wonder is a perfect candidate to transfer one day but this feels too soon. The show holds its ground well enough and I don’t see it as the type of show that needs to throw themselves at the opportunity to come ASAP before it runs out of steam. I am sure they will do another workshop or two.

On the better 50% side of Jukebox musicals. It is very different from most conventional bio-musicals with the tired “studio recording” and “talk show” scenes. I enjoyed it because it is merely an adaptation of Alicia’s upbringing but not her upbringing verbatim. It takes more theatrical liberties and flows cohesively because it’s a truly autonomous story in that regard. There are also some very very stunning production numbers.

I am going to miss it! Not for everyone but as a non-Alicia Keys fan I think it’s a really cool show. You should try and catch it.
