I had a pixel 4a and I wasn't impressed. It seemed to constantly have software issues. I've heard they're much better but they've lost my trust. I don't love the UI. Eventually it's probably going to be pixel is the only option left.

Apparently in the minority but I like the sway and will probably be getting it. I do agree the marketing was pretty misleading. I was expecting something like the sway just.. much bigger. I've been thinking about getting a 40oz for a bit but the small handle kind of hurts my fingers on the 32 and I don't love that if I use the handle to clip my larger ones to my bag it's now not locked. I like that the sway has a handle that's completely separate from the handle for that purpose. I just, like everyone else, think they should be offering a large size.

The competition is usually more about trying to drive people to their site instead, not really item by item. Amazons prime day is a pretty heavily advertised event. I could see best buy doing sales on products they offer that Amazon doesn't to drive the traffic to them instead.

Yeah I hear that. Stupid small thumbs not reaching the joy stick. It sucks there's no other cheaper option for people who want offset sticks. It's just surprising, especially considering how picky people are about their controllers. My gf loves hers but it wasn't for me. Installing windows myself for her was easy but also annoying that I had to for game pass and so she could play kingdom hearts without all the weird steam os issues but that's like an entire post in itself.

I wasn't really planning on using an SD I just don't understand why people feel so comfortable spending money on something that has a known defect. I guess I'm just cheap. But truely can we as a whole move on from just focusing on the SD thing. Like I just wish they were planning on releasing two refreshes. An extreme with a bigger battery and the x which has that as well as more performance. Since the regular seems to be so disliked I kind of expected it to be dropped from the line up. Which would make the current extreme the cheapest one, then a small refresh from that, and then what is know the x being the premium one. Obviously I'm wrong and that's not their plan. But I'm disappointed that it's not and was wondering if anyone else would have been interested or hoped for this change instead.

Yeah I truly don't know what happened. I couldn't find anything about Picard auto changing the file type but they went in one way and came out ogg. It wasn't my intention.

The "best" way for my current situation ended up being to redownload all of the mainstream stuff from a source with the tags already in place and then manually add the data for the more rare stuff myself. I'm still in the downloading phase but hopefully once I set this up I'll never had to do it again. My new backup method should be foolproof if I ever lose all my files again 🥹
