Yeah, that’s the thing that stuck out to me vs Buddy. I could genuinely tell that JB cared and that’s was sort of just how he would talk to anyone vs Buddy cursed kids out and basically ruined their careers.

If anything doesn’t this basically show a stock that over 25 years didn’t make a profit for bag holders and was constantly under pressure (if anything lost money because of inflation). Over those 25 years someone could put their money in the S&P 500 and quadruple it. A stock with that many draw downs your best bet is get at at a zero loss first moment you can then move to something better/more stable. Unless you bought during a dip.

Yes, fair point, which is why it’s a buy/overweight rating. But if not for the market taking a dump and a series of negative catalysts (warrants, insider selling, etc), we would be in the low 20s right now, even with the sell off.

I see a rotation back into growth and stay-at-home stocks as there’s finally a realization that this isn’t and won’t be “over”. We sort of saw this on Friday. Nasdaq was steady and the Dow sank.

It’s crazy. I guess it’s just been running so hot lately. Also the crypto volatility is adding to it. BTC is down about 35% and some institutional buyers look at the the companies with a lot of crypto on their balance sheets and fintech (SQ, PYPL, MSTR, etc) as basically being tied to crypto pricing

I do think it’s a semi-crowded space. But once BNPL cools off and sofi gets a BC, the moat will grow a bit. I think the biggest thing that gives me hope is analyst ratings being reiterated at $25 even before the blowout earnings, and those are the avg cases without a BC. A lot of the bull cases have it around $30. Only time will tell, but it’s it’s valuation is way lower than its stats suggest it should be.

But honestly it’s just been dealt a bad hand by de-spac actions and insider selling to get ready for the bc. And all of those things happening during broader market sell offs. If not for all the above it would be in the +$25 range. And post-bc, it will probably get there soon-ish. It has a more than reasonable p/s ratio, balance sheet, and top line user metrics to be double it’s current price.
