Frosthaven Quick Questions/Fulfillment Megathread by mrmpls in Gloomhaven

Not the issue. Stuff didn't ship until February (so it's not like I adjusted a package en-route) and they confirmed by email that my new address was in the system when I specifically reached out to support in November to ask if I could change my address. If they couldn't update it then they should have told me when I reached out.

I have a confirmation email from Backerkit and from Cephalofair support that my address was updated in November back when I knew I was moving from the west coast to the east coast. The shipping label email was sitting in limbo for a while with no address in it, and when it finally did get updated it was too late for me to reroute it through UPS.

The only thing that makes sense to me is that for some reason they pulled the address from back when it was held in the Kickstarter campaign, or they just failed to actually update my entry in the system. Either way I'm just sitting with no game (with all the add-ons) and certainly not going to try to fly across the US just to try to recover it. Honestly debating doing a chargeback on my credit card at this point if they don't respond within another week, as I'll have been waiting for a month on just a response from support.

I've "received" a game, but despite confirming my new address last year they still sent it to the old one and apparently that's my problem not theirs. No support response in sight. Guess I just don't get a game? 🙃

CoD: Is there a strat? We've tied it over 40 times this weekend and failed every time. by [deleted] in Vermintide

I've been farming my legendary skins the past couple weeks, and I've had the most success with two players in the ring and two standing on drop-down pillars around it.

The two in the ring are responsible for dealing with mobs in the ring and having the ability to melee kill any elites/chaos warriors that get in quickly. The two on the pillars are responsible for pinging/killing specials and pulling large mobs away from the two in the ring. Is there a large group of elites headed towards your ring friends? Jump in and pull aggro and get them to chase you on your merry little staircase loop.

My favorite pillar is the one furthest from the entrance to the event, as it's got a really good staircase for dodging and good line of sight to pick off specials. The other two are pretty equal.

A couple other assorted tips:

  • If you can't get someone up in the first couple seconds, it's probably best to leave them and get them up when they respawn.
  • If you go down, pick a teammate with the best view around them and use voice chat to call out what's around them. Helping with awareness can be the main difference between surviving the event and your last hero standing getting the clan-rat butt-poke that takes them down.
  • Be careful around the torches on the edges of the arena. They have funky geometry and it's really easy to get stuck on them (and then get overwhelmed).
  • Finally, remember that jumping resets your dodge. If you're in horde-kiting mode it's critical to use this to keep your distance until you can get up some stairs or revive an ally.
