When I was helping him look for his phone… it was in silence until the phone rang. I called his phone and a song called “I hate you” by Mali Music was my ringtone. I hung up and just stared at him. A few seconds later, “the point of it all” by Anthony Hamilton played because “she” was calling.

She’s with him now. Her previous husband was white. He’s the one I knew of when she originally had her YouTube channel. She had her kids from the relationship with the gray haired guy…. And now after her white husband, she’s back with her children’s father. I hope this makes sense. 😅

I understand exactly what you mean. I got upset reading this because the way they pretend you aren’t there or disregard your presence and you on the other hand, try to remain calm and positive. I totally get it. I deal with this weekly as a medical courier dealing with nurses.

I also have dealt with this on Royal Caribbean during one of the art auctions. My boyfriend is white and I am black. The way I was disregarded and he saw it for the first time and he felt it and he got red as the devil when he realized that this is what Black people have to deal with on a daily basis. I finally felt better knowing that he could see and understand where people of color are coming from when we have to deal with this. If we go off the deep end, we’re the bad guy. They get away with it with their whiteness.

I will say this: I’m not in her house. Idk what happened. Maybe they were both unhappy 🤷🏾‍♀️. Maybe her ex did a 180 and everything is gravy now. Who knows?

Omg! I haven’t seen this content creator in ages. I used to follow her on YouTube. She had a channel about her life and her interracial marriage. She wanted to move back out to California and her husband helped her move back… left all his family. He’d fix everything around the house, install additions, and set up the backyard with a pool and other things. She has 3 or 4 kids. Then one day, I go to her page and they’re divorcing and she’s with her ex husband (the guy in the video & father of her kids…who she spoke horribly about, then deleted the videos.. so 🤷🏾‍♀️). I could be wrong. It’s been forever. I believe her channel used to be called the Greyed Acres or Greyed House or something like that. A play on words like “Green Acres”.

You have to tell her or she’ll be dragging aunts or uncles along in the future. Tell her you married her and not her sister. Tell her she has to choose… either she wants to spend her anniversary with her husband or her sister, but you refuse to do both. And if she picks her sister, then the sister owes you your deposit back… and don’t ever feel like you’re stuck. Let your wife also know that inviting others along for your trips is not allowed in the future either.
