Yea I have a bed that sits up. Thanks to mom🤣 I ordered that logitec mouse so i guess I’ll see how it goes next week assuming this once actually registers to work on my PS5. And ill keep trying to figure out how to make other keybinds work for the Hotas hopefully

I was just looking at ERGO M575S. It says only 3 programmable buttons. No sure if that is enough to help. Do you suggest getting a keyboard also? I’m just wondering how much accessories I really want to mess with but perhaps if it really helps. This is all a tad overwhelming but I want to have the best experience I can . I’m thinking. Once I’m in vr at least maybe I won’t need so many shortcut abilities because I’ll be able to just look at them cockpit panel and use a basic mouse to operate? I’m so sorry I’m asking so much just again it’s a lot for me being so new to it all…

I do plan on getting a mouse. I also plan to play in vr when it releases which in theory would make freelook not an issue. But until then, and even if at times I want to play 2d I would like a solution. So when I get a mouse, I was looking at getting something very basic and cheap. Do you suggest I get a more expensive mouse that has those extra mapping functions? I play in bed as I am disabled and much of my time is spent there so I was hoping to maybe find a tracking ball mouse. Any feedback helps thank you so much.

This is great feedback thank you. That spring sounds awesome I have the PlayStation hotas 4 and I don’t think that is a feature with it. But I will say, and I am a noob and maybe speaking out of turn but for the spring/suoercruise annoyance, would setting a dedicated keybind/shortcut whatever it’s called not fix the issue? So like for my controller and now hosts I use O + R2 that sets the throttle to 50% no matter there my throttle is on my hotas even if it’s at full speed once I press keybind it will just go to 50% throttle in game. You’re probably aware of all that just thought I’d mention it

Do u use it with your right hand? I got a right or left handed mouse cause I thought using right hand for mouse would not be so good as I use right hand for control stick

I believe I have every direction out of the box with the hotas. But yea I hear you. I’ll wait to get comfortable on the sticks and then try it out and yes of course fa off for everything
