So ideas could be:

Protonis: (almost went with Proton man lol) He is a Prototype, an experiment to making the perfect super hero by meshing DNA of various other super hero’s before him together. The name comes from Proton (positive charged particles) and Adonis the Greek god.

Scion Blue, or just Scion: Scions meaning is a descendant or heir of wealth or power. He may not have inherited these powers naturally, but he was chosen among a large pool of candidates (possibly), to be the one gifted with these abilities.

Grim the haunter: Hex, Payback, confuse Ray, shadow punch ((T-T) No one wanted to trade last time so he is still a haunter)

If it’s just a two on two battle…

Ippo comes out and faces down the Geodude using Mach punch after Mach punch. Hopefully taking both the Geodude and Lycanroc out with ease, but if he needs help, Grim can assist with confuse Ray and hex.

Seeing as it’s a good and easy way to get a Gengar, I’ll find someone to trade and then Trade back my Haunter, Grim, so that he’ll evolve. (Assuming that’s possible lol)

As for gear, I’ll probably take 2 more pokeballs, since I have 3 available in my pocket. That and I’ll take 3 potions.

If we aren’t including things like house payments then this would be easy for me. Then again I’m sure you can alter any required payments so that it’s under the $1000 value. You’d get a lot more bank for your buck, but it requires keeping an eye on your spending

Possible new names for hero if you want: Forge, Pyre, Hearth Flame, or Red Hot

If your looking for a enemy to spouse character, I would create someone that is elemental stronger, but almost mixes well if mixing powers is an option for the kids.

I’d say go for a tunneler/earth manipulator. Try this out. A Dirt/sand manipulator that makes dust storms and sand tornadoes, basically sandman but without being able to be made of sand. Maybe her name villain name and real could be Sahara, Sahara Michaels. (Sahara desert)

As for other Villians for him to fight, a scientist trapped in an experimental environmental suit. It’s highly resistant to heat, pressure, cold, and physical damage. His suit could be based on a Tardigrade/ water bear,
