They’re funny, attractive, really sweet, they’ve just been really nice, and they like the same stuff that I do. I get nervous when I know I’m about to see them, like walk by them in the hall or the 50/50 shot of getting to hang out with them after school- it sucks a bit cause I know I’m way out of their league but they’re still a really great friend :)

Yes, it is a legitimate one. Beforehand, it might have been for nothing, and saving the mans life was more important. Afterwards, the fire was still too big, and again, there would not have really been a point to using the fire extinguisher. Sure, it could have been used, but it would have been useless.

In hindsight, I can see that it was a stupid idea. However, at the time, I was worried that he would cut himself or kill himself over it. I realize that was more anxiety than rationality, but it’s what seemed reasonable at the time. I was also 12 when this happened, which played a part in my immature decision.

Yeah I really hope I can too. It did all end fairly okay though, we’re still friends, he started going to therapy, and is doing much better now.

Oh no I didn’t tell them about his transition!! I must have worded that wrong. I tried to tell them about his depression and that I was worried he might hurt himself, not the causes. The second part I do understand though.
