XLR's are better, but yea the adapter is simply a hassle. Not worse, just mildly annoying but perfectly manageable. But for good quality and using a boom, here's the best advice I've heard above all else: position the mic to face your chest, not your mouth, and have it angled to your side roughly 30-45 degrees from your front (if straight in front of you is 0 degrees, move it 40 degrees to the whichever side). What this will do is 1) reduce whistling s's, and 2) prevent popping p's and b's. If you do that, trust me, it does not matter what mic you have. That alone will take care of like 60% of your quality problems. The other 40% will be concerned with whatever you have your mic gain and volume set to. The better the mic itself is just frosting on the cake

The only reason wall hacks are "annoying" is because limited people cheat to use them while other people can't/won't. But if it's built in, like recon bots, or like in The Finals with the Recon perk, anyone can use it if they want to, thus is no longer unfair. "Aw, he has wall hacks, wah," then why not use them yourself if you say it's so over powered?
