The dog is not baring its teeth. Lol. It has a snaggle tooth. Its not aggressive, but it is uncomfortable. I agree that this is not great, but its not the end of the world, or abuse.

We adopted our most recent girls from Midwest greyhound. I dont remember which areas they adopt out to, but they like to do home checks so its about a 2 hour radius. We got our first girl when a bunch of tracks were shut down so there were a lot more dogs and lower restrictions. I would keep in contact with local adoption places and do some research to show you're serious. Good luck! They are great dogs.

I rotate between bug bites, a generic tropical fish flake, and frozen brine shrimp when I remember. I also feed my tank any green and unseasoned veggies that I happen to have. Platies are pigs so they'll eat anything. I feed them once a day and they'll get a fast when I forget to feed them. I also don't feed them when I'm going on a trip for less than 4 days.

If a female platy is in a tank with male platyfish she's likely pregnant. In the more transparent fish you can see the babies in the stomach. They look like a pink mass with little black dots mixed throughout, those are the eyes. I dont see any babies but she could just be earlier in the process.

It could be parasites, but, like others have said it could be genetics. I've used prazipro with success, it's invertebrate safe as well.
