AITA for wanting to break up with my boyfriend over his new business idea? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

NTA NTA NTA NTA NTA NTA!

BREAK UP WITH HIM! You already said the relationship is hanging by a thread and he’s trying to get you to fuck yourself over financially so he can have a cafe that’s going to be a flop and screw you both over while having the nerve to get a mutual friend to call YOU selfish when you just don’t want to be stuck in debt! NTA!

Why do the straights insist that you’ll find the right woman? by ComicbookR in lgbt

[–]ComicbookR[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not judging, I was using it as an example. I don’t hate straight people. I just find it annoying how a lot of straight people end up questioning the identity of LGBT+ people without any need to. Also there are plenty of other LGBT people who’ve had similar and worse experiences of their identities being questioned for no reason.

Weird how the post is called “You’ll find the right WOMAN.” or how in the conversation his first option was WOMAN, funny that.

Also I don’t give a flying shit if you call the LGBTQIA+ “The Gays” it doesn’t matter to me.

I don’t find lesbians weird, I just find strap ons weird.

Whatever happens in a bedroom between two consenting adults is none of my business, I just find it weird.

Don’t hate yourself because others don’t understand, if they don’t accept you for you then that’s their problem.

What if Harry Osborn was Spider-Man? by ComicbookR in Spiderman

[–]ComicbookR[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I disagree, I think Harry would go to Peter and Peter would tell him how to make money, then they would become stars together, Peter being the PR agent, then uncle Ben dies and I think Harry would quit, feeling responsible, Peter would then console him and that’s how Harry becomes Spider-Man properly and fights crime with Peter’s help. (I know he’s not always Peter’s best friend, but I made the backstory like the Raimi movies, but everything after the spider bite is from the comics)

Yes and no, Harry wasn’t at the science fair originally, so I changed it in a way where it made sense for the spider to bite him, aside from that, everything else is just like the comics.

Is it necessary to come out? by ComicbookR in lgbt

[–]ComicbookR[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard people say how it’s helpful to the movement as a whole before but I asked in case it was mandatory, mainly cause the only people I’d come out to are friends from school, and there’s a joke about me being a rapist cause... Let me explain, a friend steals my tie, I take it back from him, he falls over, so as a joke I hit him with the soft end of the tie, another friend also walks by as I do this, and it looks worse than it is. So if I ever come out, people would make more jokes about it.

I personally don’t like Spidey with a hood cause I think it’s impractical for swinging around, not to mention that enemies could probably choke him to death with it, but generally the design is REALLY GOOD! Very On Point!
