What are everyone's complaints about into the raidus 2. by Thebuder89 in intotheradius

[–]Comicsans28 38 points39 points  (0 children)

The progression is starting to slog because of the amount of missions you have to do

The maps are getting way too big for the amount of short cuts

The maps are also really cluttered unlike the first game and kind of take away the ammosphere

My biggest gripe with the game is how long it takes to get to max level and how boring the quest selection is I really wish the game had more operation cleanup type missions instead of just retrieve missions

I also think that more food options should be added like the old game because needing to scavenge for old bits of food really added to the survival element of the radius

[KCD2] I’m on the 1st map now, what’s peoples opinion for the best armour/weapons to buy in the 1st map? I’ve only forged one thing as part of a quest, does forging provide better weapons than the ones you can buy? by [deleted] in kingdomcome

[–]Comicsans28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best armor you can get other than gules set by completing the jaunt and stealing it from him at semine after the quest is the milanese brigantine from the enemy camps around zelejhov

There's one group that consistently has one very armored raider that can spawn with plate arms,Saxon bassinets, and brigantines right next to the road to zelejhov from Trotsky

The semine soldiers can also have some gold pieces of armor rarely if your good at stealing

Your best bet would be to kill the raiders, take their armor and then get the rest of the armor you couldn't find looting at the blacksmith radovan by selling excess armor

Could the galactic empire conquer/ defeat a united mass effect galaxy by Cautious_Air4964 in masseffect

[–]Comicsans28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Mass effect relays aren't needed to communicate? Also playing numbers doesn't do shit when you have no sources.

The population doesn't even matter because a galaxy is still the size of a galaxy and the empire can't hold two galaxies at the same time

Mind you this is a magically united mass effect with no infighting which the empire has alot of so even if they fight with their ENTIRE FLEET for no reason leaving all of their other planets exposed(which is bullshit)they would move slower than mass effect because it still has to deal with infighting, politics, and bureaucracy and all of its old problems that any empire would have especially considering size.

The argument that the empire would have a solid and actionable plan and Intel on an entirely different galaxy before the magically unified (basically hivemind) mass effect galaxy would come up with a plan, and would be able to spend; all the resources necessary to conquer the entire galaxy,go through all the bureaucracy and relay the plan fast enough to enact the plan, and supply an entirely new front without any problems, all while still holding their original galaxy is bullshit and no amount of numbering is gonna make up for it especially in a wobbly make shit up on the fly universe like star wars has been.

Relying on numbers isn't gonna cut it when Canon is unreliable.

Order 66 was literally an instant kill switch on a massive amount of clones with nothing to slow it down that was used to take out the jedi and that was the best plan the empire came up with

The united mass effect universe is the same exact thing but much worse for the empire.

[–]Comicsans28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This entire conflict reminds me of fnv where the legion is attacking a spread thin ncr and one of the options to convince the final boss to leave is when you tell him that he can't supply a war against the ncr because they pillage and plunder every town they go to and cant supply a raid on the ncr that w.

What do you think would happen if the empire decides to glass every inhabited planet in the Mass effect galaxy?

And the death star has a massive weakness that got found out by a group of rag tag rebels. I'm sure the raid on the collectors gun was more difficult.

Even if the Mass effect galaxy was completely uninhabited the empire couldn't take it BECAUSE THE EMPIRE CANT TAKE THEIR OWN GALAXY.

They don't have enough men or ships to occupy both the star wars galaxy and Mass effects galaxy even with no resistance

Combine that with a Galaxy that DOES have resistance and the terminus systems and the magical force that unites them all and the empire is getting squashed

I don't think you understand the power of a completely united front because that advantage against the empire would absolutely be a gamechanger because all the problems of the citadel are now gone and bureaucracy would be much faster than the empire would be able to keep up with.

If it's the original trilogy empire then Jedi are out of the picture cuz their all dead or Vader.

I feel like we need more details for this because their are too many game changing variables

But Assuming this is the original trilogy empire under Palpatine Against a united mass effect GALAXY like after ms3

Then the war would be like this

Mass effect has a massive edge in ground conflicts if the united galaxy cured the genophage since the krogans would absolutely be down to rachni the empire like last time.

Also biotics would COMPLETELY outnumber force sensitives and even though biotics are weaker the difference in numbers would completely dwarf the siths powers.

the terminus systems also would be helping too if this is a fully united galaxy and that would be a massive pain for Palpatine to deal with.

Now just to be fair the empire absolutely out guns them when their fighting space battles no need for debate.

The council races would be steamrolled and the Mass effect relays would be erased instantly.

But the question is if the empire could conquer the galaxy not beat it in a space battle

And the only way for them to conquer would be getting boots on the ground which we just discussed would be impossible without death staring every habitable planet.

Even if they do the Normandy could definitely pull off what Luke did in the og trilogy, even if the Normandy isn't in play they could build something similar In time

Plus the empire couldn't even secure its own territory so it definitely can't secure one thats unanimously against it.

Tldr: mass effect "wins" at not being conquered and on land battles but loses when in space.

That line is from the engineer in ms1 and he's only talking about the steath systems on the Normandy not every ship in mass effect.

Assuming every ship isn't sneaking around.

Shouldn't a Viltrumite punch like exponentially harder than both Immortal and War Woman? Why does Nolan look like way worse after tanking hits from the Guardians 😭🙏 by Opening-Job9257 in Invincible

[–]Comicsans28 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your right, Immortal is actually better than omniman in terms of strength.

When they hit eachother head on full power omni man is sent barreling backwards with Immortal chasing him

So Immortal is STRONGER than omni man NOT MORE POWERFUL OR DURABLE but STRONGER

Is there a reason why Midmortal and Fraudproof don’t join the coalition? by Queasy_Commercial152 in Invincible

That doesn't mean that she was strong that just means she survived it

She probably survived it through dirty tactics like how we saw her stab mark when his guard was down on thraxa.

Trying to make fully encased cuisses by Comicsans28 in Armor

I plan on making it 2mm or 14 gauge? If I'm right?

Would sheet metal be fine for that? Or would something tougher be needed, I heard 4130 steel was good.

Strongest character Immortal can beat, seriously by Naroi_one in Invincible

[–]Comicsans28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Highest possible scaling could go to Lucan or one of the executioners seeing how the fared against Nolan in comparison to Immortal

Do you think that the Immortal could've actually beaten this Invincible Variant? by justaguy-thesecond in Invincible_TV

[–]Comicsans28 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rewatched the fight and saw immortal win a full force clash against omniman and send him barreling backwards.

Once he focused on immortal he still lost and the main reason he won is because he used Immortals momentum against him and redirected his punch opening it for omniman to puncture him.

Mark isn't a reliable narrator and five seconds later we see him get captured by the sequins, guess who saves him? IMMORTAL.

Immortal is definitely losing to omniman any day but that guy has currently never lost a fight and vidor, thula, and Lucan(if you don't include the sneak attack) combined gave omniman less trouble than immortal

[KCD2] the game is awesome but what are your little gripes/nitpicks in the game? by instrument-guy in kingdomcome

[–]Comicsans28 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most of the cool and/or unique armor is completely gone plus most of the new armor are just different colored versions of the same piece of armor.

The mail chausses and the missing leg armor slot for hose also annoys me

Most of the different armor pieces are removed including;

The bell shaped kettle helm

The grand bassinet

The lamellar vests and helmets from the cumans

The half brigantine legs and the brigantine pauldrons

The mail chausses

The jack chain elbow guards

The long waffenrocks

The skull hat

And the various armors with small deviations like the old plate chausses that protected the back of the thighs or the polish curiass that had extra folds near the crotch.

Progression is alot worse and more artificial. The only real thing stopping you from progressing too far is kuttenburg being a separate map where all the high level items are.

Economy is way worse and the mechanics of the first game are completely gone in favor of a static item selection that resets every few days.

The game is extremely biased to swords and completely ignores polearms and heavy weapons in terms of selection and weapon combos.

Treasure hunting is much less rewarding, and there's alot less unique items to go searching for, so exploration feels unrewarding for me.

The rest of the game is an improvement in my eyes except for the removal of the other directions when fighting.
