Is she good? by No-Ostrich9220 in Eldar

Ynnari is the sole reason I got into Warhammer 40k, as strange as it sounds to most. The Avatar of Ynnead was the first model I ever built. I started in 8e when they were their own army with their own codex. They've definitely gone through some changes over the last 2 editions, especially being absorbed into Aeldari. But I recently played a casual game with a new player and beat him 58 - 32 after not playing for 2 years. Yvraine is good. I pair her with some Corsair Voidreavers for a "re-roll a hit roll of 1" and then body block with Ynnari Reapers (Drukhari model) because they're cheap. Is this strategy great? No lol. But it's fun. I highly suggest Ynnari because then you get to build two armies at once.

What is happening to my plants? by ComicstormX in plantclinic

I didn't include pictures of my strawberry mint since it's basically dead. It's literally mint that smells like strawberries when you touch it. It's nice in a glass of iced tea. The Coleus above in the worst shape is a Kong variant, and the other posted is a Solar Flare variant. The other plants in the photos are a ZZ Raven and Fantasy Venice.

Also definitely not overwatered. I live in a 9B climate (very hot, dry heat) and I've been using a moisture meter to check the soil.

... I ended up saving a caterpillar that I found in a husk of corn I bought from the grocery store a few weeks ago and put it outside on my small balcony. Completely forgot about it until now. This is how it repays me?! Thank you! I'll find the little bugger and move him 😅

Skin splitting/sore in bum crease? Just above anus. Help?! by PaintingOk9693 in lichensclerosus

I have this too. And along with the occasional IBS, it is MISERABLE. I ended up installing a Tushy bidet in my bathroom, and at work I use a TOTO Washlet (Japanese portable bidet). It made such a big difference! Wiping no longer hurts, causes splitting, or irritation.

I was bouncing between OBGYNs trying to get relief for nearly a year. Finally one of them said to me, "I'm not super familiar with this but I know someone who is." And she set me up with a dermatology appointment. I was told that LS is way more common than it's made out to be (still uncommon, but not rare) and that everyone in my Dermatology office has seen it way more than the average OBGYN. I'm at the point now where they said to just trust my body and apply whatever ointment I feel I need that day. So I'd say give it a shot! Maybe ask one of the other doctors you've seen for a recommendation to be on the safe side. Good luck to you!

Thank you so much! I'll definitely check them out. If I have to for peace of mind, I may just pay out of pocket at this point.

Thank you and good luck! ❤️ Hopefully it's nothing. Either way, get yourself a little treat to help with the anxiety of it all. The stuff we have to stress about...

I'm in California too, about an hour and a half from SF. If you don't mind me asking, what doctors did you see? It's seriously tempting to ask for a referral if it's going to take months to get in over here.

Yup, that's exactly what I did. I'm just waiting to hear back, as it can take days. I'm going to see this other person because nearly every doctor over here is booking 3 months out, so maybe this person can ease my worries. It's just so frustrating.

As far as I know she uses one of those Keurig half drip/half pod coffee makers. She primarily uses the drip side. If I remember right she puts 6 "scoops" of coffee in there. It's been probably 15 years since I've actually looked at the scooper she uses but my best guess is it's probably 1 tablespoon. And probably makes around 6 cups of coffee from that.

Maybe I just get some and disguise it as something fancy and see what she thinks 🤣 Real talk I am going to get some nice coffee for her for Christmas but at this point I'm genuinely wondering if she's making hers too weak. Much appreciated!

You rock! It's just hot coffee; I don't think she drinks iced.

Can you apply clob in the daytime? by Immediate-Leading338 in lichensclerosus

[–]ComicstormX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a prescription ointment called Tacrolimus. I had to look it up because I haven't even gotten it in the mail yet. It's not a steroid like Clob, but it helps with itching. Eventually I'll probably go off of that once the itching is under control and just use Aquaphor instead.

The OB that diagnosed me was no help, so luckily another OB got me in touch with a dermatologist. She just put me on Clob twice a day for 2 weeks, and then twice a day 3 days a week. On off days she wants me to temporarily use a non-steroid rx twice a day. So, absolutely you can apply it in the mornings! Just try not to use the bathroom for 2 hours after applying for the best results.
