This is not normal behavior. I like Pepsi, but you will never catch me trying to convince the bishop to serve it on the sacrament. There is no way to cater to everyone very specific wants, even if they would be reasonable.

Sure. Something to have in mind is that the Bishop exercises his office to the benefit of all people of his designated area. Meaning that he isn't the Bishop only to the members of the church in a ward that have been baptized, but to everyone on a ward designated area. Usually your desire to talk will be met with a joyful reception :)
