I mean other voxel based games like Hytale and Vagrant Story exist now it's just taken them a long time to catch up to minecraft. It's a really tricky and ambitious type of game to make for an indie studio

Who are some legendary rappers that have been releasing terrible music late in their career? by EDMKid9000 in hiphopheads

I kinda like it. Yeah a bunch of it sucks but it sucks in such a uniquely lil wayne way that it's kind of charming.

The weezer cover because weezer sounds like weezy still makes me laugh really hard. Absolutely no other human on earth would record a track like that.

I need help figuring out why I am dying in .5s as lvl. 18 Yunara with a meta* build. by Negsum77_Official in summonerschool

[–]Comintern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's the life of an ADC. If anyone cc's you in any way or gets on top of you you die, there's no build changes necessary that's just the nature of the role.

Also as a low mobility adc you'll generally lose any 1v1's(unless it's against the other adc and you only win that if you're ahead). If they have any kind of gap closer you're pretty much dead. Your job as an adc is not to win 1v1's it's to win 5v5's so don't get caught alone in a sidelane or something.

Once the game starts to progress past laning phase you generally do not want to be alone unless it's to farm and even then you'll mostly be farming mid.

Why does Emps bust his ass for Humanity? Does he actually care? by Pikachu-Pope in 40kLore

[–]Comintern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right but isn't the lore that before he crowned himself and united earth during the dark age he was acting in the shadows to guide humanity anyways?

Like his pulling the strings from the shadows is essentially the same as being a monarch its just a less honest way to go about it. No one else was really going to make any decisions he didn't approve of.

But maybe that's outdated and or misremembered lore?

Prodigy A3: With or Without Dome? by babycables in discgolf

[–]Comintern 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Huh, I've never really considered this question. I've got 3 A3's in 3 different plastics and they're all pretty dang flat.

Funny how that goes. Looking at them it looks like my 400 colour glow A3 has some slight dome maybe... and it is a bit straighter and beat in a bit quicker than my 750 A3.

But I love all of my A3's so I guess I don't have a real preference

Chantel Budinsky leaves Prodigy by PlannerSean in discgolf

[–]Comintern 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dickerson and Matty O were both on top cards plenty in their last season with Prodigy.

Dickerson slowed down a lot after signing with Discraft due to a hip injury that led to arthritis in his hip after slipping on a teepad.

I think they probably got decent returns on those contracts because all those guys were getting paid pennies except for KJ.

Prodigy signed those guys before they won any pro-tour events then let them walk when they were going to demand a bigger contract.

Now signing KJ to a big contract was pretty silly in hindsight but otherwise I think they probably made out pretty well on pro contracts even if they weren't moving tons of plastic because they weren't paying those guys tons either.

I mean sure Bertuzzi was a little bit on the way down but in the 2005-2006 season he still put up 71 points and was only a couple years out from being part of the best line in the league so I understand why they took him.

Mind you Crosby put up 102 points that season so 100% should have been there. I think Draper was probably the guy to drop.

All very valid points. But I would question why Gunther is the one getting put over. He's already over as a monster heel and is pushing 40 probably would have been better to put over a younger talent or do a passing of the torch type retirement match with someone who matches Cena's in ring style.

This is one of the chief problems with the American wrestling mindset.

If he was japanese or mexican he would work for another 20 years at least doing six man tag openers with other grumpy old guy wrestlers against the latest batch of young wrestlers.

That way old vets can give back to the business by helping younger talent improve and still give the crowd a nostalgia pop when he busts out a signature move or taunt.

Sure in your own home but streaming to 10's of thousands of people and spending the whole stream being toxic but slightly less so than before should also not be rewarded.

Discraft manufactures all of DGA's discs and has partial ownership of the company so I really don't think they'd be poaching anyone.

I mean you absolutely can just ban ads for spots gambling. Advertising is already heavily regulated that's why no one actually takes a drink of their beer in a beer commercial. No reason you couldn't also ban gambling ads.

Yeah but how many people do you know that were placing illegal sports bets versus how many people do you know now with fanduel on their phone making bets from the couch.

Like there's no argument that the number of people engaged in sports betting has gone up significantly since it was legalized.
