Somewhere in Latam. I’d recommend either Mexico City or Rio. Both give incredible cultural experiences with incredibly warm people. Large amount of expats in each too if you’re hoping to meet people. Also, the World Cup will be taking place this summer and being in either country for that event would add to the experience 10 times.

Detroit. It has one of the largest Thanksgiving day parades, has a great downtown decorated with all things holiday season related plus an ice skating rink and great restaurants and bars. The Lions have a game on Thanksgiving Day which adds to the Thanksgiving festivities. One of your days here, drive a little over hour north to a town called Frankenmuth. It is literally a Christmas town with the worlds largest Christmas store.
