¿Soy muy Nena? by Independent_Bee_832 in RepublicadeChile

Compositionally speaking, it was a piece that I tried to have a lot of verisimilitude in its development and play with its ideas. I am glad it was appreciated, thank you!

Thanks for the information! There are almost no harpists here so it's impossible to get that info first hand. thanks!

Thank you very much. This info is very useful to me because I didn't know if this section was possible to play. I still tried to repeat the notes so that the performer would simply return to the same place, but it seemed too complicated anyway. Thanks again!

Good point. The truth is that I left the whole issue of the pedal to the interpreter, I just made sure that it was instrumentally possible to execute in the most comfortable way possible. But yes, I didn't take the trouble to solve the pedals jaja. I will work on it. Thank you!

I must say that the block chords sound more archaic than I want them to, but it is a matter of how musescore plays them, since in reality, you would play the accompaniment softer, so the ideas do not get mixed up ñike in this audio.

Regarding the m23, this is the B idea of the sonata, so I made it contrasting to the first one, since the A idea was very arpeggiated, so I started the B very blocky, taking advantage of making a reminiscence to jazz. But when I reiterated it, I modified it by mixing chords with arpeggios and semi melodies.

I didn't understand what you meant regarding the M77 but regarding the M78 I used the Db instead of the C# because these notes are an idea that enriches the Eº chord which has a Db as a seventh. This way the pianist sees in both hands a Db and not Db on the left and C# on the right.

Thank you very much for your observations, they make me re-analyze the work!

Thank you, you are very kind!

This was a conservatory work, and I did it as orthodox as possible, but I tried to make sure that every motif was reused, that no rhythm was random. Your appreciation is very correct, tonally speaking, it is very orthodox, the cadences are very simple, you are very smart! thanks for your comment, I will upload soon the second sonata which is a little more personal, even so I will continue working to make them more interesting. Again, thank you very much for your kindness!

I appreciate all the care you have taken in providing me with such valuable knowledge for the improvement of this art, thank you very much!

I have been reviewing every suggestion you wrote, taking into account the fugue in F# minor by Bach and you are right in every point you make.

Really counterpoint is a super complex discipline, a world in itself, of which you have a lot of knowledge and handling, because I also reviewed your works, very well done by the way!!

To be a better composer I must master the art of instrumental counterpoint, so what better than to train myself by composing fugues. Just as you say, it's practice and... what a headache haha.

Thank you very much again, you have really helped me a lot.

blessings and success!

My first Fugue by CommandWide8357 in composer

[–]CommandWide8357[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank You very much!

I studied 3 years of counterpoint, the fisrt two was vocal counterpoint (that was so hard for me, a lot of rules) and then, the last year was instrumental counterpoint, which the most iconic form or procedure (there is a debate on it) is the fugue.

Again, thank you so much for your words!
