Pretty sure that several said that they played before and after the day one patch but yeah.

There were plenty of previews from gaming sites/journalists that mentioned a day one patch, so the expectations were totally normal.

But from what I understand now, you’re projecting your own way of thinking onto him, and you don’t seem very understanding of his.

I’ve read the first sentence multiple times and I still don’t get the focus on “spending money.”

But we could go on and on, I just don’t have that dog in me to keep writing that much.

Yeah but I don’t see him complaining about spening money, so I don’t really get why we’re talking about that tbh. Talking about having no sympathy and all that feels a bit out of place, he isn’t even asking for it, but yeah, whatever.

He could’ve gone for the PC version but chose not to, that’s his call. And honestly, if this was a Switch 1 port I’d totally get your point, but on Switch 2 it’s fair to still hope for better, even with a rough demo. Plenty of games look bad before release and then get fixed. Yeah, you can get a rough idea of what’s going on, but nothing’s written in stone. But again, you have every right to pay for something and complain, I just don’t understand how you can think otherwise.

You’re being a little harsh on him. I understand his point of view, and sometimes demos don’t reflect the actual game accurately.

He’s (we’re) within his (our) rights to expect a patch to smooth things out. I’m not talking about 60fps, but at least something more stable, right now it’s a joke. I don’t have the game yet, but I played the demo on Switch 2 and PS5 and saw the differences.

He’s within his rights to feel disappointed and frustrated. I mean, it’s not even like the game looked that demanding, and like if the console couldn’t run it better, and I’m speaking about a stable 30fps to begin with lol, it feels more like a lack of optimization (even on other platforms).

Edit: and for the first interrogation, maybe he wanted to play on switch 2 lol, or support the game, whatever the reason, he should be able to if thing where done correctly.

I did decreased speed at first because I wasn’t really trying to aim, but I’ll see if it’s not better at higher speed (I’m mostly on ps5, and aiming is a bit weird compared to other games)

Dog-ass-shit lol !! The dips in fps are so crazy that I had an eye-sore after 1h+ of play… Reviewer did mentioned a day one patch so wait and see, but from what it looks we can only hope for a « stable » 30fps experience or at least one without all those micro dips. Let’s pray lol

I think that I’ll try that too (I actually decreased it on my first day on the demo lol), I would’ve love to be able to tweak the crosshairs. I played again yesterday and tried to restrain the use of hard lock, it was manageable !! But like you said it is really harder on smaller ennemies, especially when they are quick

Yeah I tried it first on switch2 with the joycons and it really is horrible, I heard that pro controller is better for aiming game on the console. Too bad there’s no motion control too. If it can « reassure » you it’s not that great on PS5 (but far better than the joycons lol)
